Spirit divine, attend our prayers,
And make this house thy home;
Descend with all thy gracious powers,
O come, great Spirit, come!

Dear Father, please let me know and experience daily, the abiding
presence of the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, please help my weakness; make intercessions for me in the
place of prayer.
Please strengthen me in my inner man.
STANZA 2
Come as the light; to us reveal
Our emptiness and woe,
And lead us in those paths of life
Whereon the righteous go.

Holy
Spirit, please guide me into all truth in this world of errors.
Glorify
Christ and declare the things of the Lord to me.
Let
the manifestation of Your fruit be my daily experience, since at the cross I
have crucified the flesh with all its passions.

Come as the fire and purge our hearts
Like sacrificial flame;
Let our whole soul an offering be
To our Redeemer's Name.

blood of Jesus Christ, through the eternal SPIRIT purges/cleanses our
conscience from dead works.
Holy
Spirit, please come again, and again as You came on the first Pentecost.

The wings of peaceful love;
And let thy Church on earth become
Blest as the Church above.

Peter,
a hitherto ‘barren’ witness, denying ever knowing the Lord to a mere maid
became a proclaimer of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the face of threats from
rulers of the people, through the FERTILISING power of the Holy Spirit.
Dear
Holy Spirit, please fertilise my life with Your power so that I will be a BOLD
witness of Christ.

This consecrated hour;
May barrenness rejoice to own
Thy fertilizing power.
