Daniel

Join this HeartCry Prayer - Every Monday, Tuesdaay, Wednesday and Friday 11:30am - 1:30pm (UK time)

Daniel
(Daniel 6. tune: “Thou Shepherd of Israel”)

1. Daniel God’s greatly beloved
Committed unto his God
Babylon or Medo-Persia
In him no fault ever was got.

2. King Darius the Median loved him
And set him above in the realm
In Daniel man of trust and hope
The Spirit of excellence abode.

3. God’s enemies hated him
And sought against him a fault
But Daniel stood above them all
They plotted an evil in their hearts.

4. “King Darius live forever
A royal decree thou must make,
Whoso calls on a God save thee
Must be thrown into the lion’s den”

5. Brave Daniel went into his house
On his knees, windows opened
Prayed to his God as before
And got into trouble with the king.

6. Into lions den was thrown
His friend the king could not sleep
Rose early called on Daniel
“Oh Daniel did your God perform?”

7. “King Darius my great God performed
His angels shut the lions’ mouths
No scratch nor wound is found on me
My God made your lions to behave!”

8. Who will dare to be a Daniel?
Upright in the very face of harm
Trusting their God like Daniel
To perform as He always has done.

Ezekiel - The Hand of God

Join this HeartCry Prayer - Every Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11:30am -1:30pm (UK time)

Ezekiel: The Hand of The Lord
(Ezekiel 37. Tune: “The Ninety And Nine”)

1. The hand of the Lord, upon me was.
In the spirit carried me out.
He set me down, in the midst of the;
Deep valley full of bones.
The LORD took me, around the bones.
Behold they were many, and lo very dry! (2ice)

2. Son of man He asked, can these bones live?
I answered “O LORD You know.”
Again He said, prophesy now
Upon these bones and say:
“O ye dry bones, hear the Word of the LORD:
Behold I will cause breath to come into you.” (2ice)

3. “Dry bones ye shall live, and ye shall know;
That I'm the LORD your God.”
So I prophesied, as the LORD told me
There was noise and shaking too.
The bones came together, bone to bone,
Behold the sinews and the flesh came! (2ice)

4. The skin too came, to cover them all.
But there was no breath in them.
The LORD then said, “Prophesy to the wind,
Prophesy O son of man.”
“Come O ye breath, and breathe on these slain.”
Behold a great army they stood on their feet! (2ice)

5. “These bones”, the LORD said, “Are Israel's house.”
They say “Our bones are dried.”
“Our hope is lost, we are cut off too.”
“Prophesy O son of man.”
O my people, I will open your graves,
Behold you shall come to Israel your land! (2ice)

6. The hand of the LORD, upon us is.
His Ezekiels of today.
In the valley of bones, He has taken us;
Desires for us to see.
And as His saints, to prophesy,
Behold His Gospel to gather His own! (2ice)

Lamentations

Join this HeartCry Prayer - Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11:30am -1:30pm (UK time)

Lamentations
(Lamentations 1 - 5. Tune “I Stand Amazed In The Presence”)

1.How sit solitary the city,
That once full of people was?
How become she as a widow,
That was among nations great?

2. How hath the LORD covered Zion's,
Daughter with an angry cloud?
From heaven down unto the earth,
His footstool remembered not?

This I recall, 'tis of the Lord's
Mercies that we're not consumed
His compassion will never fail,
Every morning they are new!

3. Remembered I my affliction,
My misery, wormwood, gall.
My soul within me is humbled,
My portion and hope is God.

4. The LORD is good unto all them,
That wait for Him and seek too.
'Tis good for one both to hope and,
wait quietly and be saved.

This I recall, 'tis of the Lord's
Mercies that we're not consumed
His compassion will never fail,
Every morning they are new!

5. The yoke 'tis good in his youth bear,
And sit silently alone.
Because He's borne it upon him,
His mouth putteth in the dust.

6. His cheek giveth to be smitten
He's filled with reproach and grief,
The LORD yet full of compassion,
Doth not willingly afflict.

This I recall, 'tis of the Lord's
Mercies that we're not consumed
His compassion will never fail,
Every morning they are new!

7. Let us all search and try our ways,
And turn to the LORD again,
Let us lift up our heart with,
Our hands unto God, He reigns.

This I recall, 'tis of the Lord's
Mercies that we're not consumed
His compassion will never fail,
Every morning they are new!
